I had a previous client this past September that came from Irving for her newborn session.  I am so very happy that Marie and Casey were pleased with their experience and were kind enough to refer their friends, Leigh and Trey to me.  I felt honored they had chosen me as their newborn photographer to capture their first baby together, as they were coming from Dallas.  I am very passionate about my style and love when my clients connect with it =)  I met Leigh and Trey for the first time for their maternity session, which they totally knocked out of the park!  They are such a beautiful couple.  And it came as no surprise to me when I met little Harper Reese that she was just as gorgeous as her parents!  Mom wanted Harper’s session styled around purples, blush pinks and neutrals so we did just that.  Harper did so well throughout her session, even with the travel.  She was nice and sleepy from the car ride when they arrived.  This always helps with the first pose here, the popular and most requested chin in hands or “froggy pose” and we even caught a little smile 😀

Mom really adored this image and so did I 🙂 She chose to print this in a beautiful 20×30 gallery wrapped canvas!

This image was quite special, as it was dad’s favorite of all!  Leigh decided to surprise Trey with a beautiful 20×30 gallery wrapped canvas of this image as well.

We just loved all the little expressions in the bucket shots of sweet Harper.  She had quite the personality!  This was mom’s neutral prop selection and I think it was the perfect choice!

I am so pleased Leigh and Trey decided to incorporate parent shots into her newborn session.  I think they turned out beautifully!

Typically, newborn sessions are scheduled between 6-15 days old.  Upon booking, I ask the client to select a date during the week that is 14 days from the due date.  This is just a tentative date that will be adjusted accordingly once baby is delivered.  If you are expecting and interested in reserving a session on my calendar, I recommend booking during your first trimester as spaces are limited.  You may view the calendar here https://jodicrockerphotography.as.me/newbornsession
