After many months of waiting to get these done, we were finally able to do this little family mini session over Thanksgiving break!  This is my brother’s family with their new little addition (well, not so new – he’s one year old now), but first family session with Jonathan.  It was a great Thanksgiving this year because we actually had everyone come to my parents’ at the same time.  We had loads and loads of good food, cooked by my wonderful mother.  I wish I would’ve just picked up my camera a bit more and photographed everybody and everything but we will just have to save that for Christmas break this year!  Maybe even (FINALLY) get my own family photos taken.  Heck, I would even take one posed photo at this point.  We haven’t had a family photo with our youngest in it yet.  So excited to start picking up the camera more now that I have finally embraced the fact that THIS IS FOR ME, photography that is.  I’ve been been back and forth with it for two years since my son was born.  But honestly, I have never done anything that brings me so much happiness job-wise.  Too much of anything can burn you out, but even when I’m tired – I find myself engaging in photography-related things anyway.  That’s when you just know.  Looking forward to seeing my brother and sister’s families at my parents’ again over the holidays.  Oh and Electra/Vernon/Quanah peeps, if you’re seeing this, there will be mini sessions on April 20th and 21st this Spring in your area!!  I look forward to seeing some faces I haven’t seen in a long time!
