Texas Newborn, Baby and Maternity Family Photographer

The Tucker family came to me in late September for their family maternity session and again in late January for a newborn session.  I had the pleasure of meeting Heather through her sister Erin, who was a previous client of mine for family and newborn.  No doubt, these two sisters have some gorgeous kiddos and I have loved shooting their growing families!

I couldn’t get enough of baby Annie’s sweet face throughout her session.  Sleep-wake cycles may vary a bit from baby to baby, but are pretty much the same for most.  Baby Annie was awake for about the first 30-40 minutes of her session and I definitely had to flip my workflow to make the most of the session time.  This isn’t unusual as you never know how sleepy or alert babies will be when they arrive to the studio.  The awake shot you will see at the very end of this post was actually the very first photo I took, which I LOVE the eye contact I got from her 😍 Mom was pretty open to just about any color, but made a last minute selection of a pretty peach color!  Heather booked my middle collection and was very satisfied with the outcome of Annie’s session.  I look forward to capturing her beautiful little family as they grow!

Typically, newborn sessions are scheduled between 6-15 days old.  I spend a tremendous amount of time on the planning and details of these sessions so I only book four per month to give my clients a great experience!  If you are expecting and interested in reserving a session on my calendar, I recommend booking months in advance to ensure availability.
