For the first time since I’ve really dove into and specialized in newborn and baby photography, I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful 2 month old baby girl! Never say never moms and moms-to-be when contemplating whether or not it’s possible to capture older babies. I think it’s important to note that I always ALWAYS recommend doing your baby’s session between 6 and 15 days old to give you the fullest gallery while their sleepy babies. However, just incase you might’ve been too busy to schedule those newborn portraits ahead of time, don’t hesitate to try to get those portraits done anyway before they turn 3 months old! Sweet Kendall was sleepy enough for a couple of setups during her session and awake for the others, but I think that’s okay because it’s all about capturing those age-defining moments, right?! I am so glad the family loved Kendall’s session😊 Now I’ve got some beautiful fine art prints and a gallery wrapped canvas on the way for Grandma!
Jodi Crocker Photography offers a variety of prop setups and color schemes, all of which are discussed in your optional pre-session consultation. Typically, newborn sessions are scheduled between 6-15 days old. I spend a tremendous amount of time on the planning and details of these sessions so I only book two per month to give my clients a great experience! If you are expecting and interested in reserving a session on my calendar, I recommend booking months in advance to ensure availability.
