I was so pleased when Lauren contacted me to photograph her twin boys.  Mom loved neutrals so we styled the newborn session around just that!  These two sweet little boys – oh my… the two of them together were easier to photograph than some single babies!  Twins definitely run in the family, mom herself is a twin.  In saying that, mom knew the importance of keeping the session uniform, but also photographing the boys in their own setups and capturing their unique personalities.  She wanted these photos to be cherished in the years to come to these boys’ families as they go on their separate journeys someday!  We just loved how the boys curled up so differently, in their own unique ways!  And we even caught a smile or two from each or them =)

We have several props to choose from when designing these sessions and I love to bring the softness and simplicity out in these photos!  I do believe in keeping props and miscellaneous items at a minimum so the newborn session is centered around just baby.  In the years to come, this is what family will want to remember – just baby! 🙂
