April was sure a busy month with babies! I was able to see all kind of personalities, with some being more challenging than others. One thing is true, I was WORE OUT after the back to back sessions. It literally makes your body hurt, no joke, but I feel blessed to have been busy 🙌🏻
Newborn photography is definitely not for the faint of heart. If there’s not something deep down inside of you that makes you push through these long, sweaty sessions while perfecting every little detail, then you will soon find yourself moving onto another genre of photography. For me, there is just something about the challenge of newborn photography, creating images that can only be captured in the first few weeks of life and the look on my clients’ faces when they see their final gallery! It’s hard work worth working for, in my opinion.
Rhett came to me right as the month was closing, and he was so SO amazingly calm. I kind of felt like he was this beautiful gift after all that hard work🤣 and not to mention, he was so adorable and handsome! I know his momma is already loving her sneak peaks and I can’t wait for her to see the final gallery.
Typically, newborn sessions are scheduled between 6-15 days old. I spend a tremendous amount of time on the planning and details of these sessions so I only book two per month to give my clients a great experience! If you are expecting and interested in reserving a session on my calendar, I recommend booking months in advance to ensure availability.
